Neoliberalism, International Monetary Fund and the Dependency Theory

The role of this research is to revise and blend the different views that are spread within the literature and which are somehow related to the topic of this analysis. After reading this paper, the reader will be able to get a better understanding of how neoliberal capitalism works, what helps it spread and develop and what is the connexion between neoliberal theory and dependency theory. The purpose is not to criticise the neoliberal capitalist regime but to inform the reader by formulating an answer to the research’s question. A categorical answer will not be provided.
