Spanish Literature

Henry Butler Clarke wrote this book as a brief history of Spanish literature in 1883. He said “My aim has been to stimulate inquiry rather than to satisfy it. Existing bibliographies are chiefly occupied with the rare editions dear to collectors. I have merely appended a list of the cheap and obtainable editions of the books best suited for a course of Spanish reading.” This is a republished version of the 1921 reprint of the book.
