Eternal life vs. Life

2099, NewER York City. One can transplant a Soul from a dying /painfully aging human into a synthetically-fleshed vehicle (robot) that never ages, but with a price. The Soul forgets much of who he/she was when in a biological human, and happily/obediently accepts orders from its new human ‘masters’, with marked losses in vitality. Fighting against this new and increasingly popular option is a Bernie Sanders like aging ‘ancient school’ scientist-researcher who, with the help of a robot, seeks to retrieve his wife from the ‘misery of unchallenged happiness’ as well as future generations to come, against enemies who he was very instrumental in creating himself.
