Our Lady of Kalasin - Mother of All Nations

Cathedrals are not the first thing you got in mind if you think Thailand. With perhaps the exception of Tibet, there is no country in the East where Buddhism is so intensely interwoven with the life of a nation from the king to the lowest subject as Thailand. In this Buddhist dominated country the first thought was not that a Roman Catholic entity hovered above Route 2009 near Nong Kung Si in the Kalasin Province. Bishop Clarence Duhart saved the Blessed Virgin Mary, that appeared in apparitions above the rice fields of a small village in the countryside. In fact, the apparition was already exploited as an Avatar by the Shakti-sect.
