People living with a chronic illness are living with their own grief. But they are also living with so much more. We knew it was imperative to create a book that would adequately help the readers understand what it is like to live every day with the unknowns. We wanted the readers to recognize that chronic illness can be dark and dreary; we also wanted them to see that, despite the darkness, it is still possible to see the light and optimism in it all. This book was written to bring hope and encouragement to others living with chronic illness and bring understanding to those who know someone fighting every day to just make it through. There is no right or wrong way to read Invincible. Start at the beginning or jump right into a topic that speaks to you. All we ask is to be present while reading because these stories matter.
