A Cut Above The Rest

This book is the result of a short story contest sponsored by myself (Mr. Collins) for my 2005-2006 7th grade English Language Arts students. Every student was expected to write an original short story of at least 750-1000 words. As you read, you will find that there were more than a few students who had no trouble reaching that minimum word length. The students in this book represent those who took the extra time and care to produce a story of note, a story demanding to be shared with the larger world.
