In my 53 years of cynophilia, I have seen too many inconsistencies, too many problems in dogs, both physical and psychic, avoidable with a respectful selection of the dog; the tendency is to persevere in error, thanks to money on the one hand and aesthetics took to the extreme on the other. A dog’s ideal has always been excellent natural qualities and great physical resistance in my heart and head. To reach these characteristics, it is necessary to start again in the selection with subjects in the same conditions as the dogs before 1911.
