Usually printed in 3 - 5 business days
The poems and prose in this collection are from a body of work left behind by writer and artist Merijane Block, who died of breast cancer in 2017. The majority of this writing was generated in Laguna Writers Workshops in San Francisco, California, where she was a participant for ten years. The book also includes some of her previously published work.
It is the editors' hope that Ms. Block's moving, insightful, inventive, humorous, and at times, heartbreaking work might be be helpful for doctors and patients living with cancer and other chronic diseases, as well as their loved ones. Her writing is universal though, and would be enjoyable to any audience.
