Interpretation of a Poetic Text

The book is devoted to modern problems of interpretation of a poetic text, artistic functioning of its elements presented as an artistic unity. The book consists of an introduction and three chapters. The introduction briefly describes the current ideas about a lyrical text, its essence and bounderies of interpretation. Part I - Interpretation of a poetic text. Analysis of a poem. Part II - The problem of semantic transformation of a lyric poem in the artistic space of a cycle. Part III - Interpretation of a lyric cycle as a semantic unity. The book offers a "universal" scheme for the analysis. The author offers her original method of attracting minimaly sufficient context for proper semantic interpretation which helps to avoid gross distortion of meaning or "hyper-interpretation". The book provides examples of artistic and philosophical interpretation of poetry.
