Legend has it, that many years ago; shadows were cast over Tyrath, bringing it into a time of
despair. An evil man, by the name of Lockseal riding a black, armored horse, wearing dark
armor, caused this torment. This man rode around spreading his black flames of evil on the world
and it quickly fell into darkness. Then, one day, a man by the name of Socrates came riding on a
stallion of pure white, wielding the White Blade--the sword that descended from the heavens,
and cast down Lockseal into hell from whence he came. And from that day forth, Socrates was
named “The Great Hero.” After that day, the White Blade was sealed in a chest in Galerieth
Tower, awaiting the next hero of ages to come and smite darkness once again.
