A New Vision for Engaging Teens: YOUmedia Learning Labs Network

The YOUmedia Learning Lab Network is a group of libraries, museums, and community centers across the United States that are committed to rethinking and reimagining teen learning experiences. Learning Labs are designed to reach young people where they are and provide them with the tools and guidance to stretch their talents and interests in new ways, by tapping into the power of digital media and mentorship. The YOUmedia Learning Lab Network is guided by a core philosophy that youth are best engaged when they’re following their passions, collaborating with others, and being makers and doers, not passive consumers.
