Writing and broadcasting, mainly about cricket, in six decades. Writing for the Times, Daily/Sunday Telegraph, Wisden and several magazines. Broadcasting for BBC World Service, Radio 5 Live and innumerable local radio stations. Before that university lecturer in drama/literature.
