Murder at St. Alfege

The empty chair at the Parochial Church Council meeting, and the later discovery of the chairman’s body causes dismay. Suspicion and confusion amongst the council, choir and congregation. The confusion is magnified by the entrance of Inspector Bob Clef whose investigation leads the many varied characters into farcical situations. Some sense returns with the calm deliberations of the Vicar’s wife.
