A huge underground cavern with a so called 'modern' martial society is a metaphor for the harsh,amoral qualities of humanity. A fallen supra-human, messianic stranger unwittingly attempts to return to a warring 20th Century with an underworld expedition. As the suspense eventfully builds up to a karmic, hostile climax it can be asked: is it worthwhile to sacrifice one's life for what is just?
