Halton Height

Halton Height is a collection of four ghost stories set in the wilds of the Yorkshire Dales. Set against the beautiful, bleak background of Wharfedale, very real characters are forced to deal with terrifying supernatural forces. From the ancient ghost 'Red Cap' who wreaks terrible revenge on a non-believer, the shadow of a tragedy deep in a cave, the reawakening of a South African ghost by a Christmas story told round a fire to the heartfelt, moving story of a young man running from his past to the wilds of Halton Height, these stories are frightening, disturbing, chilling and touching. The Yorkshire Dales are their backdrop and inspiration.
