This book gives fundamentals of using Excel in solving chemical engineering problems. Chapters 1 to 3 introduce Excel and VBA programming, followed by a basic understanding of numerical methods required to solve different engineering problems described in Chapter 4. Chapters 5 to 7 include a pool of thirty typical chemical engineering problems, including fluid dynamics, mass and energy balances, process integration and optimization. For the selected theoretical background and implementation steps to solve the problems using Excel are described in detail.
