Niyetta Lawson-Glenn embodies the term “Ambitious Entrepreneur”. Born and raised in North Philadelphia, she has been exposed to some the good and the bad aspects of owning and operating a business. At the age of 12, she was mentored by her fraternal grandfather, who owned and operated his own construction firm. Niyetta would learn the art of negotiation, creating contracts and setting realistic expectations. Her fraternal grandmother was a college professor and many of her afterschool hours would consist of sitting in the back of her class watching her lectures which gave her passion for education, while her maternal grandmother scarified and held 3 jobs to ensure her family received the best education. Because of this, Niyetta believes those values paved the way of the person that she became today- savvy, fearless creative, passionate, self-driven, risk taker, confident and most immortally unapologetically her! Fast forward into professional career, she holds a degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Entrepreneurship/Small Business Management; she also attended and graduated from LaSalle University College of Professional Studies for Medical Coding and Billing. Those skills have allowed Niyetta to have a career in Healthcare Operations for over 10 years.  Niyetta would often have conversations with various clinical laboratory networks who identified the challenges of an increase of medical facilities and organizations not having the manpower to transport specimens to their final destination. Some of the largest clinical laboratories in the nation struggled with staffing leaving very little resources available. Niyetta became anxious to help address this issue but didn’t know where to start. After many hours of research Niyetta was introduced to being a “Medical Courier” which is a medical term for transporting medical specimens from one location to another. Niyetta created a course to guide for anyone wanting to generate another stream of income with little to no experience.
