I Like to Pretend I'm a Poet

I think I was too young to remember my first poetic thought. And since then, whether I have put pen to paper or not, I have been writing poetry. I Like to Pretend I'm a Poet came from a year and a half of my life written down in journals I kept for the purpose of writing poetry. They are poems about life, poems that wonder about many topics such as love, writing, and taking risks. If even one poem touches your life, then my poetry has done what it was meant to do.
