Those Without

Ever since Charlie can remember, she and her best friend Owen have called each other "the rock and the pebble" due to their differences in strength and stature. Regardless of their differences, they love to spend all of their time together. But all of that changes when Owen gets accepted into Aldin’s School of Magic. Suddenly, he’s hanging out with new people and not making time for Charlie. Then, just as suddenly, Owen disappears, and Charlie becomes convinced he is in danger. Now Charlie has to figure out how to use what non-magical powers she does have to save Owen, and fast.
