Economies of the last century had been unable to reward extraordinary scientific talent fairly. In the current century however, the scientifically advanced Anglo Saxon civilizations will be able to put higher intelligence levels and extraordinary genius to good use. Meanwhile, mainstream citizenry in many nations have become the victims of religion induced mass psychosis. This type of mind programming through mass indoctrination was carried out deliberately to wean common citizens away from revolutionary thinking. It was primarily done to keep away Communism. Furthermore, many political candidates wish to get elected by playing upon the religious emotions of mainstream voters. While common citizens who fail to cultivate a scientific temperament might become unemployable in knowledge-centric economies, the financial elite continue to utilize advances in technology and science to their economic advantage. In the emerging scenario, economic divides arising out of differences in IQ levels and human abilities will seem perfectly natural in knowledge-centric economies. In fact, economic inequalities in North America and Europe are no longer being created through exploitative wage levels. On the other hand, they are being created by rapid advances in science and technology. These advances tend to expose individual differences in human abilities. Eventually, with advances in science, differences in human abilities translate into troubling economic divides. In a knowledge-centric economy, a variation of 30 IQ points might translate into a difference between a middle income job in Minnesota, and an exciting tech industry career in Silicon Valley. Moreover, as these are not exactly inequalities created through socio-economic injustices, governments and elected politicians in Anglo Saxon dominant cultures will not find enough moral justification to intervene and demand higher wage levels for blue collar occupations. In many countries, the systematic neglect of science education for over 50 years has left mainstream societies stranded in the religious phase of intellectual evolution. Vast sections of mainstream society without a scientific bent of mind have now become unemployable in middle class occupations. In both knowledge-centric and finance-centric economies, Anglo Saxon Capitalism is unable to create a large middle class as originally envisioned. As mainstream citizenry are getting locked out of the advancement loop, the middle class strata is shrinking.
