My Life Outside the Box

Writing an autobiography gave me an opportunity to revisit the past and reconsider the events and circumstances with the perspective of wisdom and experience. A good autobiography like any good story, should allow one to relate emotionally, share their skin, and help the reader understand the forces that are at work in their own life shaping their experiences. It helped me to reach across the boundaries of time and space, set the record straight, honor the ones we love, and celebrate the journey we have taken together. I have discovered during this process of self-examination that my actions were as much the cause of estrangement as any second party.
