God's banker, is a play written by the young writer Olga Ricart, whose plot is based on a true story that was the biggest scandal that rocked the Holy See, the case of the Ambrosiano bank Complot that interfered with members of the IOR , of Freemasonry and the Italian bank, which had as its main architect of Roberto Calvi, known as the Banker of God (in the years 1974 to 1982). What makes this novel special is the documents and how they worked to bring out the scam, but the writer goes into the mood and psychology of the protagonists, thereby trying to unravel the reasons beyond the ambition that led them to commit such fraud, fraud in the Church without prescedentes moving higher flow of wealth such as the Catholic Church, wealth that sometimes fails to really help people who are in extreme poverty or in nations recovering from a disaster.
