Jeremiah Gwinn and the Ravens of the Tower

Jeremiah Gwinn and the Ravens of the Tower

ByOliver Peirce

Right in the middle of London there is a castle. This building once struck fear into the hearts of the bravest men in medieval England. It was once a place of cruelty and torture and is also a place that was once home to the kings and queens of England for hundreds of years. It is called the Tower of London. Today it is the home of the many ghosts that still walk its corridors and parapets, all of whom were murdered within its walls! It is also the home to the British Crown Jewels, the yeoman warders who guard them and seven black ravens. Legend has it that if the ravens ever leave the Tower then the British monarchy will end and the country will collapse. Well, one day they all went missing and the task is given by Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II, to an unlikely hero, covered in acne and bullied at school, Jeremiah Gwinn and his three friends to find them. What they did find lurks beneath London in the underground tube system. Something that is so terrible that it can hardly be told.
