Glitter Gospel

The WORLD has its WAYS (principles of the world as Colossians 2:20 puts it). Apostle Paul talked about boasting "as the world does" in 2 Corinthians 11:18 - these WAYS run opposite to how God's Kingdom function. Satan lied to Eve when he said that she and Adam would be like God if they eat of the middle tree. What eating (disobedience) did in truth was make them perceive and set things in reverse (i.e rather than be like God the reverse effect is what they got - they became aware of shame & guilt,); and consequently man (the world) rather than see things straight (as God sees them), man see and set them in the opposite direction from God. For instance - Pride and self promotion is how the world judge men of power, affluence; humility and self-effacing is how heaven tell men of power......... Secularism (spiritual laziness) grows from prosperity (plenty), and prosperity (health and wealth) is the centerpiece of Glitter Gospel. In Luke 4 Satan said to Jesus, "take ALL but give me YOU" - this still..............Does God prosper men? What or where is the line between prosperity & greed? Is God mindful of your health?
