This volume of graphic work by artist, professor, and illustrator Omar E. Montaño, was inspired by the "Undersea World of Jacques Cousteau" documentaries. This series of linoleum block prints was intended to create a fully illustrated quote book, with the documentary titles serving as the titles of the artworks themselves. These prints not only celebrate the pioneering spirit of those who sailed aboard Calypso as she circumnavigated our blue planet, but to some degree, explore the quality of our oceans and planet’s stewardship since the last of these films originally aired on 30 May 1976.
