Rubaiyat of Omar Khayyam

This book attributes a number of quatrains to a Persian astronomer and poet but the certainty of him being the true author is highly questionable. Although this work was initially unpopular it was taken in quickly by the English speaking world once religious groups and clubs started to form around the writings presented in it. The poems themselves speak of many things centring on occult lore yet they have real lessons we can learn to explore who we are and what we think of ourselves. Despite what leaders may think of the source and content of this work, its influence is still felt today.
