HELL IN THE HIGH COUNTRY

HELL IN THE HIGH COUNTRY

ByOscar Reagan, Jr.

Usually printed in 3 - 5 business days
Big Jake McMillan's valley, nestled in the shadow of the giant Teton Mountains, was peaceful until Garrett came to town. An unscrupulous little man from back East, he was determined to own the town and all the ranches surrounding it. When the smaller ranchers refused to sell, using hired guns,Garrett resorted to burnouts, killings, and other underhanded tactics to force them to relent. Then, finally, Big Jake's Double M Ranch, the largest in the valley, was the only one left. Homesteaded by his great-grandfather generations ago, Jake was determined to keep it in the family, come hell or high water or even a little man from back East. But Garrett was just as determined to get it and tried every tactic he could muster. But Jake resisted and in the end triumphed, not only for himself, but also for the smaller ranchers too.
