What would you do if the home you’d been invited to stay in for a while was haunted? At first, the Otis family in this short story by playwright Oscar Wild, was a little stunned at the strange activities plaguing the house, but as the odd circumstances escalated, the idea of ghosts just might be the undoing of this particular family. Or not. In this case, a mystery becomes an obsession for those involved--and a romping good time for said family--but not so much for the Canterville ghost… He’s just trying to do what ghosts do. Be damned the secrets. Oh, and yes Virginia, there are such things as ghosts… Oscar Wilde has outdone himself.
