
From the beginning of mankind’s creation, up through the first century, humans have experienced catastrophes such as the worldwide flood (Genesis 7:24) and the destruction of major cities, such as Sodom and Gomorrah (Genesis 19). Yet, never before in history has mankind undergone so many natural disasters in such close succession as we have witnessed since 1914. This monumental year definitely marked a watershed in human history.
