Too Timid to Confess Love

Ifawole has just finished eating his supper. There was blackout and the small candle which he lit became extinguished just as it finished eating. A letter had been lying on the dining table which he wanted to read. He groped in the dark for it, before going for the matchbox to light another candle. . . It was Ruth the long awaited wife, coming to him at last. Ifawole will no longer be taunted as a boyish gentle-man by his comrades and neighbors. The letter notified him of her arrival. There is however one question. Will she ever come?
