The Innocent Curate

The Innocent Curate was first published in 1963, and was dismissed by reviewers as a malicious attack on a particular church. The book was quickly forgotten; when the author died in 2005, the book fell into the public domain. This reprint contains scans of every page of the original book as well as two essays; one from 2017 gives a brief history of the book and the reasons why it was so heavily criticized, and one from 2022 that points out the major themes of the book that had been overlooked by all previous reviews, and makes the case that the book is NOT a malicious attack on another church, but is rather an overlooked classic, very skillfully written on the theme of spiritual warfare.
