From Chicago, IL, Descended from Early Settlers and Pioneers, Patricia has learned that the most important things in life are to always remain adaptable, and to try to learn something new every day. An unstoppable reader, She started writing with 3 poems at age 8 that she submitted to a record company, and actually received a contract back for one of them, much to her and her parents surprise. However, they felt she was too young to be involved in that business at that time, and returned the offer. In her High School years, She was published in the school Newspapers, and in College was the Assistant, then Manager of the Advertising Department of their Newspaper, and also was an occasional Reporter. The book being readied for publication at this time will be her first solo, although one of her poems was published in a collection several years ago.
