By 1968 the Pentagon was studying snake venoms. By 1972 it was common practice to induce immunosuppression in laboratory animals with Cobra Venom; surgery; genetic strains; and chemotherapy. It was then possible to load up the animal/victim with lethal amounts of virus, yet the animals would run around like nothing was wrong! Toggle back on the immune system for the Cytokine Storm that led to catastrophic KIDNEY failure and/or death and you have the makings of Richard Nixon adding kidney transplants and dialysis to the Medicare reimbursement in... 1972!
