Rubbernorc or... "My best friend was a Nazi war experiment."
Usually printed in 3 - 5 business days
The tales of a modern day orc and his fat pal, Nogl and Chubb, the Rubbernorc and the Fat Bloke.
N.O.G.L. - Non-OrGanik Lifeform. Created in occupied France during WW11 by scientist Doktor Hertz van Rental as part of the Nazi war machine, programmed to believe himself to be the last surviving rubbernorc, green skin, cloven hooves, an almost insatiable thirst and just a little on the irritable side.
"Nog" - Still surviving, not so much wandering the planet as crawling between bars. Habitually wasting time with his drinking partner "Chubb", he does not know or care less about his true nature, he's a norc, he can handle that, sit down, have a drink, just don't mess!
Originally created in the late 80s as a few cartoons and a few gags based upon student life and a few very real and unique people, eventually to become an ongoing comic strip in the early 90s, Rubbernorc made a small but noticeable mark in the world of small press publications. The characters resurfaced again in more recent years in various digital formats and are once more due to make new appearances very soon. This collection contains the original comic strip in it's entirety along with additional strips and art created during that time, as well as some of the more recent strips that appeared sporadically over the years. Also included is some of the early work showing the development of the characters and newer design work and sample strips that make use of computer generated imagery.
Please do enjoy this small peak into the world of Nogl and Chubb, they may have taken a few breaks from the limelight over the years, but they are still out there, they are real people after all, maybe you'll see them around.
