About Paul Peter Rom

Paul Peter Rom Abim was born in Kitgum in Northern Uganda on 29th June 1977. He was brought up and educated mainly in Northern Uganda. Only two out of his 34 years of life have experienced relative peace. The rest of the 32 years were marred with war and tribal hatred in Uganda. He is a Roman Catholic priest, a full time lecturer at Alokolum National Major Seminary Uganda and St. John Paul II Philosoficum South Sudan. Has a MA in Pastoral and Theological Studies (MAK), MA in Philosophy from Pontifical Urban University Rome, MA in Bioethics from Pontifical University Regina Apostolorum Rome, and Bachelors in Theology. He has recently graduated with a Post graduate Diploma in Teaching and Learning in Higher Education. "He is a no-nonsense Acoli who loves to love and hates to hate."
