For three decades the Toronto Argonauts were a national joke: a team that not only lost most of the time, but usually did so in embarrassing fashion. Author Paul Woods is a journalist and educator, a lifelong fan of the Argonauts and a dedicated archivist and historian of Canadian football. He worked as a reporter, editor and senior executive for The Canadian Press for 31 years and has also taught journalism at Ryerson University.
