One Hundred and Forty years ago the immigrant Welsh community of Cambria, Minnesota began observing Independence Day celebrations in a place known as Wagner's Grove. For ninety consecutive years the celebration was held on the same location in a beautiful valley nestled along the Morgan Creek, a tributary to the Minnesota River. Recitation, Song, Poetry, elaborate musical performances were customary tradition for the hard working settlers. Today, a new era of leadership continues the tradition recalling the history and stories of a visionary community.
