The Be Yourself Series books are Easy Reading Chapter Book for ages 7-9 Tomboy Tina is the second book in the Be Yourself Series Tina May Jones didn’t like being a girl. She didn’t like wearing pink. This made life at home hard on her. Tina and her mom bumped heads when it came to the clothes Tina wore. Just as the boys at school were allowing her to play games with them, Tina’s mom gives her some news that would change her life. And on her last day at Oceanview, Tina realizes that being a girl isn’t so bad after all. Be Yourself Series is about five girls and the boy who makes their days at school not very fun. They all attend Oceanview Elementary School and are in Miss Brown's second grade class. Take a fun-filled ride with them as they try to deal with the everyday dilemmas that young children face; at home and at school.
