Throughout four generations, the Godwin family of central Texas has preserved their letters and cards. Now in lavishly illustrated form, these messages are available for the enjoyment of all descendants of the family, friends, and neighbors mentioned in this correspondence. This collection of letters, featuring the author's great-grandmother Kittie Bell Bishop Hill and many other family members, is the second of a series of volumes of such messages. Messages from Nollie Hill Godwin's mother's families are included in this volume, from the pre-Civil war era until Enoch and Nollie's marriage in 1908. Other messages of the same time frame are included in other volumes. Facsimiles of the actual pages are included along with commentary on family events and places of residence. Also included are many genealogical charts and reports. You may preview the index to determine if your family is mentioned in this volume.
