Usually printed in 3 - 5 business days
Throughout four generations, the Godwin family of central Texas has preserved their letters and cards. Now in lavishly illustrated form, they are available for the enjoyment of all descendants of the family, friends, and neighbors mentioned in this correspondence. This collection of letters, featuring the author's grandparents is the fifth of a series of volumes of such messages. Messages of the 1907-1908 courtship of Enoch Godwin and Nollie Hill are included in this volume. Other messages of the same time frame are included in the first four volumes of the series. Facsimiles of the actual cards and letters are included, along with commentary on friends, family events, and places of residence. Maps, genealogical charts, and a timeline of courtship highlights are also included.
