Godwin Archives, Volume 6: Life at Long Cove, The Early Years 1908-1930

After discovering a drawerful of ancestral letters at her parents’ home in central Texas, Peggy Smith Wolfe became determined to share them with the descendants of the people who wrote and received them. For four generations the Godwin family had saved letters, postcards, and other memorabilia which were stored in a trunk awaiting the occasional nostalgic reading. Peggy began a concerted effort to gather all the old letters which had been somewhat scattered among distant family. Now she has made available these messages and her findings concerning them in a series of volumes called the Godwin Archives. This is the sixth volume and contains information from the marriage of Nollie Hill and Enoch Godwin in 1908 until 1930.
