What would it be like if people who take great delight in shoes- specifically high-heeled shoes- were offered a visual festival, based in humor and design, that could whet their visual appetites and stimulate design sensibilities? What if high-heeled shoes and their forms were designed into some of life’s everyday objects of usage? Together with an introduction offering a brief historical perspective, followed by a few pages that reveal the origins of the idea itself, the main body of this book brings to fruition the high-heeled shoe forms. That is, titles, designs, and drawings unified with humor and called heelights.
