This atlas is the fourth of several publications celebrating Global Forest Watch Canada’s 10th anniversary year and the International Year of Biodiversity. It presents a series of maps of key ecological areas within Canada’s intact forest landscapes.Global Forest Watch Canada has created a dataset of key ecological areas by applying a ranking system to a variety of biotic and abiotic datasets of the terrestrial and aquatic environments within intact forest landscapes.
