ALARIC, SON OF LORD BRUTUS

Kidnapped as a boy of five and sold to slave traders, he remembers little about his family, only that they were killed. When the slave traders put into the harbour of Hados, he escaped into the city and this became his home, where he grew up to become a trader of fish. Here he was known as Blackie and he married and had two children. Things were good in his life, until the city was attacked and everyone put to the sword. The invaders were looking for the son of Lord Brutus, called Alaric. After being forced to watch his family beheaded, in his anguish he escaped then discovered that he was this Alaric they were seeking, and the only survivor of the attack on his town. With the loss of everything dear to him, he sets out to find his father, who has been missing for a long time. However, his destiny is not what he expects.
