The life of an early computer Geek
Usually printed in 3 - 5 business days
I became a computer programmer in the early stages of the ongoing Information Technology Revolution. The book is a narrative of portions my life in the form of episodic material. These episodes are referred to as sketches, and recount events that are sad, humorous, and sometimes distasteful. I was inspired to develop this material after I read a book written by my cousin, Ruth Demarest Godfrey, titled An Ordinary Woman. I greatly enjoyed reading her book because I knew many of the subjects and their circumstances. Perhaps I can engender similar reactions in persons familiar with my subjects and circumstances.
