A JUCO coaches' journey from having a mediocre, low-level, semi-pro career in Mexico's B league, to becoming the Head Coach at his old Junior College (JUCO). From there he assembles a team from a pool of the typical, JUCO type players, who have various issues and character flaws. With all the issues a typical JUCO program encounters every year; the coaches teach the team how to persevere, leading them to win the schools’ first state championship. Along the way of his journey, he reflects off of the past experiences that influenced him as he attempts to teach valuable life lessons to his players. The coach has several people that will help him and some, that will make his job difficult, himself included. During his journey, the coach is narrating throughout like he is speaking to his Psychiatrist because, she persuaded him to document his journey. Via interviews conducted by different characters and personal reflection; the coach expresses his unfiltered feelings throughout these extraordinary sequences of events.
