The Priestess of the Waters

Lusitania, 198 BC, somewhere in the vicinity of Pinhel. Lylwine has just turned twenty. She is the eldest daughter of a Lusitanian governing king. For the past seven years, her most cherished dream has been to become one of the Great-Mother’s chaste priestesses, surrendering in total devotion and service to the Temple. While sitting on a stone bench in the forest, she listens to her Master Adamur, a mysterious druid, as he tells her that her instruction has finally come to an end. She is now “ready” to assume her choices. Lylwine is ecstatic. She can hardly believe her dream is finally about to come true. At this very same moment, the chief warrior of the Lusitan tribe, Mirama, suddenly invades the sacred space. He is the bearer of unexpected news… All at once, Lylwine is pushed into a myriad of emotions and duties and the course of her life is about to change forever. Step by step, she shall eventually find out, which ones were actually her “true choices”.
