More than a Grandmother

More Than A Grandmother is a lovely and loving selection of Ingrid Reti’s poetry that spans the past twenty years of her life. It is so much more than a poetry collection with arbitrary, thematic-based sections. Ms. Reti’s work is a memoir of an unforgettable life, richly observed and lived with great resilience, strength, and courage. Her poems, written in clear, simple language, are insightful, humorous, full of nature’s awe and sometimes heartbreaking as they reveal universal truths. Ingrid Reti has taught literature and creative writing classes in the San Luis Obispo area for over twenty-five years. Reti is well known for her Steinbeck and Big Sur literary bus tours. She is also the author of Ephemera (Tabula Rasa Press 1987), Echoes of Silence (1989) and Steinbeck Country Revisted (Central Coast Books 2000). Her profiles, articles on California history, library news column, book reviews, and poetry have been published in many local and national magazines.
