South Carolina native, Poiette McGill, is publishing for the third time with a collection of original poetry. Poetry has a way of touching our souls, capturing emotions that are sometimes hard to express in ordinary language. "Ruminations of a Woman Finding Light" is a compilation of 34 thought-provoking and soul-stirring poems that delve into the depths of the human experience. Each poem is a journey, a reflection, a revelation that speaks to the heart of every person who has ever felt lost and alone, but also proud and empowered.
While McGill is releasing this first book of poetry, she envisions a future at poetry conferences, literary festivals, and other such events, sharing her words with an audience hungry for inspiration and connection.
She also dreams of creating an "Online Poetry Lovers Lane," a digital space where poetry enthusiasts can share their love for the written word. It's a vision of building a community and connecting souls through poetry's power. What sets Poiette McGill's poetry apart from the rest is its raw authenticity, its unapologetic honesty, and its ability to speak directly to the hearts of men and women everywhere. Each poem reminds us that we are not alone in our struggles, that we are stronger than we think, and that we have the power to rise above our challenges. Poiette is the author of two other books: Saved and Sexual: A Survivors Guide for Pastor's Wives and What God Has Joined Together: A Marriage Maintenance Guide for Christian Couples.
