The Eyes of COVID
Thousands of people live in the shadows of the city. Living in fear, never wanting to be heard or seen; however, during the height of COVID in March 2020, people came out of the shadows to help their fellow man in need. Although these people hold no prominent position or occupation, they care about the people in their community. Caring and serving hold no bounds to one’s socioeconomic status, ethnicity, race, religion, age, or gender.
The Eyes of COVID is an outdoor public visual editorial documentary exhibit featuring people fighting to survive and serve in an extremely dangerous and uncertain environment to prevent others from starving of hunger during the height of COVID. It is designed to celebrate what we have in common, humanity, rather than focusing on one’s socio-economic status, ethnicity, race, religion, age, or gender.
